So it's growing, wont be long now until I put borders on it.

Tumbler!

Hi friends!
Yesterday I was finally able to start putting rows together.
I wanted to make sure no two of the same touched.

Making sure that both sides were the right length.

I intend to add three borders so it should be right for a king sized.

It's coming along nicely!

Tumbler Quilt

Hi friends!
Two more rows done this week-end!

I will start sewing them together this afternoon.
I may need a few more , when you sew them together they shrink a little.
But I will have a better idea of how many more I need to make.
We went to see Tommy's Cancer Dr. this morning and ever thing is still good.
That's one very big blessing!

Hi Friends!
Before I had eight rows done.

This is ten. I love sewing these together , mindless sewing!
Some are longer than others so I will decided on a number when I start to sew them together.

This is eleven rows but I still need a few more to make a king sized.

Still need a couple of more! 12 now I think!

I have lots of lights but I may have to cut some more darks.
This is a great mindless sewing project after you cut a whole lot of them.
Since I love to cut I guess that's what I will do today.

T-Shirt Quilt

Hi friends!
I am going to make a t-shirt quilt next. Blake played Lacrosse and that will be the main focus but His mother  has some shirts that he wore playing sports that are tiny.

This one is small! His mother started saving early.
 But he is a senior and will graduate this June. And he is a big one !
 Going to make it full size but maybe a little longer  so he will have most bed sizes covered.
So that's what I will be blogging about for hopefully the next month. Hope I will be finished in one month.

Fat Quarter Bundle

Hi friends!
This is the fat quarter bundle that I'm using in the tumbler quilt.
It's wildwood way  by RJR fabrics. It wasn't a large bundle 5 or 6 and I had already cut into one of the fat quarters. I got it at Missouri star quilt co.
It's just beautiful.

I let go of my beautiful floral fabric fat quarter bundle for this tumbler quilt along with a bunch of other fat quarters and scraps.

Sewing and cutting

Hi friends!
Just one more row of the tumblers!
That's all I got done over the week end.

That makes two but!

Lots of cutting going on for the rest of the rows.
Going to look for more things that I can cut up for this today.

Finish!

All eight are finished!
May give them to her this weekend.

This was the last one, finished it last night.

I hope she likes them.
I started my next quilt last night!

First row of a king sized tumbler.
Lots more cutting to be done to get enough of these babies to make a king sized quilt.

My tote full of light's and dark's, wish it was a deep tote but it's not so I will have to do a ton of cutting this next few weeks.
I cut a few last night and did that row.

Abby's Pillows

Hi friends!
Right after I made this picture my pin cushion fell off and I am not suppose to bend over. Then I knocked one off of my table! I went and got my broom and The long handled dust pan and put both of them into it.
Then I could get them up!
