Addie's Quilt

Hi friends!
I took what I had and sewed them five to a row!

That gives it plenty of fall.
When I finished these two rows I had two left so I made another three yesterday.

Got to cut some more and make a few more rows.
I ordered 4 yards of black to do this and reordered it again yesterday.
Going to make as many as I can and then start back on Kim's quilt .
until the order comes in!

Addie's Quilt

Hi friends!
Went back to working on Addies quilt.

This was Friday's temp!
So I just stayed in and sewed.

I got four done before starting supper., I think this is 16 made already. Got to get some corn put up, talk to you later.

Trying different ways

Kim's Quilt

Hi friends!
It's like putting pieces of a puzzle together since the picture shows one block and that's all. So I am trying to figure out how to get all the pieces to fit together.

I think I have enough blocks done now just to add triangles where they are needed to fit it all together.
May have to be a magician to figure out the way to get it together.
Just have to work on that.

Kim's Quilt

Hi friends!
Spent some time on the next step of Kim's quilt!
That took a while to figure out.
We went to see my Dr. this afternoon and then went to red Lobster and had a early supper or late lunch.
Just got home and feeling rough. Ate to much!
That's the only time we eat much is when we eat out.
Maybe I can get another block done and join two blocks before Wednesday.

They are big blocks. Going to take a while to get them this far and all together.

Addies Quilt

Hi friends!
These are like chips, additive!
Yesterday we run around for a while then I came home and made two more of these before going to Q-Bee's.

Maybe I will get one done today. If I ever make it again I will use smaller squares but
for this size , you know me the bigger, the better.
Next week I will go back to Kim's quilt but I may sneak in one of these a day.
We will see!
I told myself that only two at a time but this must be how a addict feels .
I just want to do them all.
We were talking about that at Q-Bee's last .You can't die until you use up all your fabric.
So we will be living to be 300 years old!

Progress on Addie's Quilt

Hi friends!
These are addictive!
Fine down so i did another last night.

I am just loving this quilt! Addie is a good color picker outer.
Maybe i should let her do all my picking out from now on.
I hate to say this but pretty soon Tatum will be going to College [ i can't believe that she is that old and i hate she will be so far away] but when she gets to her dorm room she will send me the colors for her quilt. So i can make her one. By then i should have the ones i am working on finished! I hope!

Addies Quilt

Hi Friends!
Aren't they pretty?
My only wall with out a door or window is across from the bathroom in the hall.

It's hard to get a good picture because there is no light and no room. I sent her a picture of one of her blocks last night and she loved it.
Now all I want to do is make these blocks!
But I have other work to do so I will just make one a day maybe!
We went to get some more flea spray yesterday because the powder we bought earlier doesn't seem to be working so Hubby plans to spray the dogs and their houses and the dog yard Hoping to get rite of them, no winter in the south means lots more bugs of all kinds.
The dogs have never had this problem and we have had them nearly 12 years.

Addie's Quilt

Hi friends!
I have finally found the block for Addie Lou's quilt. She wanted pale pink and black.
I love this !

I cut up a few so when I have a moment I can sew up a few more blocks.
They are 14 inches so should be a fast finish.
