Two Finish's

Hi friends!
I finished both of the table runners and mailed Amy her's.
Jessie and Richard will come to get theirs next week when they both have a morning off.

Next i will finish Margaret's wreath so she can use it in her Christmas decorations.

Week-end mades

Hi friends!
I finished the quilting on both the turkey runner's.

Great use for those clips that i got in my stach box. I am hand stitching them late at night while watching the news.

Cleaning

Hi friends!
Yesterday i had about 15 minutes to sew and i started quilting on the white on the two table runner's.

I finished the white on one and started the other when i had to stop to go to Q-Bees.
Hubby worked out side so i cleaned carpets except when i went to get him some special cleaner.

He sprayed it all with bleach before he used his pressure washer.

It looked a whole lot better when he got this side of the  half done. While i was gone he cleaned the under side of the porch and the wall to the corner.
 He quit right before i got home at 7: 30

Turkey Table Runners

Hi friends!
This is the second table runner that i am making for my daughter in law.

All sewed down! This time i am not sewing the 14 inch squares on until i finish doing all the Turkey!

Hopefully i can get this done and sandwiched this weekend. If i do i will mail it to Amy next week, maybe toward the last of the week,. And send Jessie a massage so she will know i finished her's to.
That's what i have planned any way.
I got some snow flakes to sew on to the wreath for Margaret so i could finish that to!

Amy's Table runner

Hi friends!
I got this far on Amy's table runner yesterday.

Got it pinned down waiting for me to work on it again.

I finished this part last Sunday after they left. They came and ate breakfast with us.
With Hubby sick not getting a whole lot done. But he is a little better today.

Jessie'''s Turkey runner

Hi friends!
I got my turkeys sewed down!
Worked on this a while yesterday . Amy ,dil, saw it and she wants one so i will be making another one right after this one.

I cut these and sewed them down!

Now both Turkeys has ties!

Just glued on the feet, still like cutting a hat and a beak.
It's looking more and more like a turkey!

Tractors!

Hi friends!
I don't like the stitch i used to make the steering wheel and brake!
But it was all i could find right off.
It's crooked!
I looked for something to make the smoke stack but don't have any silver . Settled on light blue.

I haven't sewed it down yet  . I will be looking !
I have tubs of fabric i haven't gone through yet.

We ran to Rome this morning to get hubby a new toy. Since we got plastic siding he needed some thing to clean it.
He used a coupon and a cash  gift card and got it for half price.
He is putting it together right now. Most likely he will wait until next week to start.

John Deer, Dawson's quilt

Hi friends!
I got the yellow hub caps sewed down!
I was going to use white but hubby said no! Use yellow for John Deer.

I sewed around the steering wheel and other things for the controls. Next is a smoke stack and i wanted to put a stripe on it but i will have to cheek to see where it goes.
Hope our granddaughter likes it!
But she is into john deer to so i think she will.

Turkey for Jessie

Hi friends!
I finished sewing down both ends!

Sewed the turkey body on !

Then i cut out the turkeys body!

We had a quit week end , though about going to the kids family reunion but Hubby got up with his back all out of shape, he smelled of Salonpas all day.. Though he would go to see Dr. Jeff today but he woke up pain free this morning.
He hates to go to the DR!

A little work

I got a little sewed on this!
I should have put the feather's on before i added it to the body of the table runner.

Makes it really hard to sew down!

Had to take some stitches out!
Hopefully better sewing this weekend.....

Hi friends!
My second turkey feathers!
See the turkey body? I found some fabric that works great.

Now i have two pinned down to sew!

I hope she likes it!

Used all the same fabric's for both turkey's feather.
Maybe by Friday i can get it down to binding, i hope!

Jessica's Table Topper

Hi friends!
Remember last Friday i thought this was to light, well i cut some more.

I like this much better.
I took out the real light ones!

I just pinned them on for now and went to work on the other end.

The one on the other end will be just the same as this .
I started sewing them together but noticed it was getting late and had to stop.
Dishes have to be washed!!!

Jessica's Table runner

Hi friends!!
I have been working on Jessica's Table topper for Thanksgiving.

I added on the fourteens inch pieces for my Turkey and started cutting feathers.

I cut my finger cutting these out so stopped right there.

I haven't pinned them down because they may be a little to light!
Maybe i will make up my mind and get some work done on it by Monday.
