Hi Friends!
A jig saw puzzle!
Hopefully this was the hardest part!
Got all my points made !
At least I feel like that is a big part of this quilt.
I need to make some four squares for the border when I just want to do some mindless sewing.
That will be a lot of four squares!
And lots and lots of 2 1/2 inch white's.

I just heard of a new way to make a two square block. I haven't made one like it but this is the way she described it last night. Take two squares, light and dark and right sides together. Sew down the left and right sides, then slice the center left and right and up the center. You should get 4 light and dark squares. I guess you need to work out the dimensions to get the size you need. but it sounded interesting and faster than sewing them all together one by one.
ReplyDeleteHopefully it makes sense. I want to do it today and see how it works.
Wow looks good so far. Did you draw this out first before you started sewing it together?
