Hi Friends!
Going to use this in the pillow shams for Missy. I used some of them in her quilt.

This to so it will match her quilt. No way are pillow shams big enough for a star like her's.
One thing for sure , no one else will have a quilt just like her's.

Hi friends!
One finished top!
Now I just have to work up the energy to sandwich this!
Got the start on my next quilt in the mail today!

Baby step daughter wanted a beach quilt! So this is the start. Going to look for some more fabric to go with this.Then come up with a plan on where I want to go with the rest of the quilt.
On my other blog I am going to do a quilt for my daughter's birthday , thinking talking turkey by Bonnie.
I just love that but I love the firecracker block to so it will be a toss up. Haven't made my mind up for sure!
Seems like I said I was going to slow down!!!!
Forgot that real fast didn't I!.

Last bit!

Hi friends!
Got the bottom border sewed on!

I sewed up one part of the fours patch's and added it and the strip pf white.
Today I will make the last part of the top border!
Yahh!
Close to a finish !
But it's the next part that's so much fun!
Putting together a king sized quilt is a pain!
Don't mind quilting it It's just getting all those wrinkles out . Oh well will just take my time and get it done.

Hi friends!
Took a few days off to just do mindless sewing!
But today started sewing my bottom border on and this is as far as I got. Going to have to make some more!

So I will be sewing four patch's together this weekend.
Need three more all together to do the other bottom and both tops one's.

Borders

Hi Friends!
Started the border on the other side!

Then the stripe

Two Side borders!
Got to try to design some shams!
Can't do a big star on them!
So I am turning some ideas over and over.
Until one takes my fancy!

Hi friends!
Got her ironed!
Then I started on one border.

The border is one row of four patch's and a strip of white and another row of four patch's.
Here I have one row and the strip of white.
But this is just one side!

There It is! One side done!

Next the Border's

Hi friends!
Upside down but it works, I had all of this sewed together.
So yesterday I worked on adding the top!
I had one row to many on it on each side  and took them off ! After removing the last one I though" Dummy you could have added another onto the main part!"
Would have been a whole lot simpler! But then I had to widen a few seams on the top star points because it had the right amount of squares but was two large , after fixing that I added it back on.

Now all I like is starching and ironing this baby to death and adding borders to have the top finished. Then the quilting of a king size quilt comes!
But at least I am making progress!

Missy"s quilt

Hi Friends!
Made the last point of the stars!
Yay!
Now I am joining them together.
So far no problems!
Why I have no idea unless It's Gods hand because I added those t-shirts and did't ever measure to see if I had the right amount of middle!
I added the bottom on first then one side , so far so good.
Them I added the  other side!  Perfect!

Every thing together but the top star!
I already know I have to work on it to get it to fit!

Missy's Quilt

Hi Friends!
One of a kind!
You can certainly say that about this quilt.
Not going to be another one just like it!
I sewed  the bottom part on and moved the side I had finished over to the other side so I had more room to move.

One side  point nearly finished! Not quit to the point!

A little better picture. Hope to get the other point finished by the weekend.
We have lots to do so I might not!
Still have to get all these parts together before I add the borders.
At least I am making a dent in my scraps!
