Quilting and birds and flowers

Hi friends!
Finally starting to quilt my daughter's star quilt.
It's very big so it should take me a while.

I was helping Hubby a while ago and spotted a bird's nest in this tree.

She must be setting on eggs because she never moved while i was taking pictures, you can see her tail sticking up.

Maybe a little better shot of her tail.

That tree has been there for years but it's on my grands football field and got knocked out of the ground for years but it's stubborn.
It's a crap apple tree and doesn't have fruit but it smells so good in the spring when it blooms!

My big lily bloomed over night it seems. Those blooms are as big as salad plates.
The smell is heavenly!
