I had a jelly roll and my plan was to make a rail fence quilt for a neighbor with cancer.
I made a bunch last night, 12 but one is on the couch, needed the seam ripper.
I am trying to think of a way to make it prettier.
I may put strips of white between each block. I have to trim them to the same size first.
I am really not liking sewing them together with out some relief between them.

use them for the center of stars. make them with geese and white or lights to lighten it up. you may end up loving it
ReplyDeleteI agree with Dawn. Maybe making it into stars or something like string blocks. Maybe square them up, then cut them on the diagonal twice. Check out Teresa Down Under on FB, she may have something she always seems to have interesting blocks.
