Borders!

Hi friends!
I hate to tell you this but i am just not liking this border!
I know i bought it but it's to thin and ruffles and i can't stand that so i bought some more!
This is mostly black so i am going to try it with it.
Wish me luck that it goes with it good.
I will know by Monday!
Hugs

  1. Aaahhh! I see what you mean... That has happened to me too! It's your choice what to do, but after all that work on the quilt, maybe redoing the borders is a small job and so much worth peace of mind.

  2. Borders give me fits also. What if you put 2 borders on the quilt. A thin black or white border about 2 inches and then add the border fabric that you had put on it first. If I remember correctly it was floral.

  4. Dear Barbara,
thank you for commenting on my blog, and feel welcome there.
I like the way your dissapearing hourglass quilt turned out, and can´t wait to see it quiltet! Wonder how it looks with the new border on it.

  6. The quilt is beautiful so it's worth changing the border to what you really like. I think we've all had to rip out a border or two to get it just perfect. :O)
