I pinned both of my last two blocks and tried some thing I haven't tried before !
I sewed the backs together and then pinned the front and I think I will use this way again if I make mine by quilting each block again.
Saves you tring so hard to get them flat.
I though I would make my borders like that but I think now I will go with white and colored squares made out of the rest of the fat quarter's.
I think it will go faster and I can make or try to make an exploding star quilt for Missy Lou .
I have only made 2 big quilts this year , well 2 and two thirds' That's counting this one.
Got to make some thing for Sis and Sis-in-love for their birthdays.

have you made anyone pillowcases? there are great tutorials out there. just put in burrito style pillowcase and see. it looks weird as you do it but it is easy and makes a nice finish on them. I made tons for Christmas and everyone liked them.
